AMI Expands into Thermal Analysis with ISI Acquisition

In August 2024, Advanced Measurement Instruments (AMI) completed the full acquisition of Instrument Specialists Inc. (ISI), a U.S.-based manufacturer of thermal analysis instruments headquartered in Wisconsin. This acquisition marks AMI’s fourth strategic expansion, following Altamira Instruments (U.S.), RUBOLAB GmbH (Germany), and Beijing Zhixiang Lantian Evaluation Device Technology Co., Ltd. (China), and represents AMI’s formal entry into the thermal analysis market.

With over 30 years of expertise, ISI is recognized for its innovation and reliability in thermal analysis. The company designs, manufactures, and distributes high-performance instruments to customers in more than 40 countries. Its product portfolio includes:
